I'm liking the e-mealz system. I'm only four days into it but so far, so good. It was so nice to go grocery shopping with a list and sticking to it. I didn't buy anything I didn't need or forget to buy something that I did need. I didn't buy anything on a whim thinking that it would be good to make for dinner only to put it in the pantry/freezer and never use it. I had a list and stuck to it! and because I knew exactly what I was going to make each day, I didn't have the "oh crap, I forgot to take something out of the freezer" blues. So far, I like all of the recipes and there are only a few that I'm not planning to make for various reasons. Skipping one or two of the meals is not a big deal to me, since we do go out to eat on the weekends and I have lots of leftovers from the meals I did prepare. One thing I really like about the recipes is that some of them suggest preparing extra meat to use for another meal that is scheduled later in the week.
I have to admit that I almost skipped the meal on Friday. I usually work a little longer on Fridays and got into the habit of picking up a pizza on the way home. I was so tempted to do that this time but I didn't. It was because I knew that everything was in the fridge and ready to go and that it wouldn't take me any time at all to get dinner ready. I changed the order of the meals around to accommodate my schedule and made sure that the quickest meal to prepare was on Friday and the longest was on my day off. Having said that, that doesn't mean that I won't pick up a pizza every now and then. Afterall, I'm not crazy!

Glad to hear it's working out so far, I'm going to check out the site
Happy to hear you're liking it so far. Will have to check it out more thorougly. Would be nice to have something like that once school starts.
We did e-mealz for about 6 months last year and loved it! The recipes do start to kind of repeat or be similar after a while. We kept all of our printouts, laminated them and put them in a binder so we could just keep using them! Saved us a ton at the store!
