Cooking and Meal Planning

I totally suck in this department. First of all, let me just say that I DO NOT LIKE TO COOK! If it has too many ingredients and takes more than 5 minutes to prepare I won't bother. I usually make things that I can bake, grill or throw into a crockpot. Every morning I'm thinking about what to make for dinner. In the summer I grill alot so that helps but I still struggle to come up with something. Sometimes I leave for work without a plan and hope that something during the day will materialize into dinner. Usually it doesn't and I'm scrounging around for something when I get home or if I'm really desperate, I'll pick up something on the way home.

A few days ago, I read on another blog about e-mealz and thought that I would give it a try. There is a fee for it but I like that the meals are planned out for you every week along with the recipes which are quick and simple. it even includes the shopping list for the groceries. I printed out this week's list and everything looked good. There were a couple of meals that I will be substituting with my own recipe, but at least the meal planning (which is the hard part) is already done. I'm going to try it for three months, which is what I'm committed to when I signed up, and see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, I'll cancel. All I know is I was so happy to have my meals all planned out and my grocery list done for the week. I'm looking forward to some new recipes too.

I don't mind the cooking, it's the planning I don't like. But, I do like the meals to be very quick and easy too.

Will have to check out the site you listed. Let us know how it works out.
