before and after - just in time for Christmas

we finally started the remodeling of the kitchen. nothing big. just doing some updating.

NEW GRANITE COUNTERTOP


HALFWAY THROUGH THE BACKSPLASH. I guess this means the stenciling has got to go. along with everything else from the 90's.


GETTING RID OF THE OLD STOVE which is almost 30 years old! I would say it's about time.

AFTER

we also got a new refrigerator, new light fixtures and replaced all the kitchen cabinet hardware. the only thing left to do is paint and get a new kitchen table. those things will wait until after the holidays.
