Project 365 - Week 8

February 22 bought these dried lavender flowers a couple years ago in California. love the smell of lavender. one of my most favorite scents.



February 23jar filled with truffles.



February 24Paczki (pronounced poonchkey). Paczki day is celebrated on Fat Tuesday and is a tradition among the Polish community here in Michigan which has become popular throughout the metro Detroit area even among the non-polish citizens.



February 25 my mother makes these every year on Ash Wednesday which is a day of fasting from eating meat. they're called "krupfen" which is basically a donut and it is served with a bowl of soup, usually potato or bean. it's a tradition that my mother brought with her from her life as a child in Germany.



February 26 Bill's mid-life crisis, oops I mean toys.



February 27clean dishes waiting to be put away. for something that doesn't take that long to do, it sure takes me a long time to get around to do it.



February 28Bill watching a video that Steven took while in college. Bill found it while cleaning out the basement. It's a video from one of Steven's assignments in his multi-media class. It was very cool to see college life through Steven's eyes.
