just when things were going so good

my wireless printer stopped working. have no clue what happened. the help center says it's disconnected. but it's not! so somehow the networks aren't connecting to my computer. I spent three hours yesterday trying to figure it out and finally gave up and hooked it up with a USB cable. I needed to print photos for my mom's album. our router has been giving us problems so we're hoping a new one will solve that but in the meantime I'll just keep it hooked up to the cable.

the weather outside is frightful. hate all the snow we got yesterday. we're suppose to get some more tomorrow and on Christmas Eve with bitter cold temps and winds. I hate winter! at least the boys made it home before the storm hit. I was a little concerned that they would hit the snow in Chicago when they had their layover there. Their flight was delayed two hours but not because of the storm but because of mechanical issues. the storm created havoc all along the country. the boys experienced it in LA at the beginning of the week with heavy rain and cold and the storm caught up to them here in Detroit yesterday.

today we're heading out to Rick and Lil's house for the Schelter Christmas Party and for Ally, Tashy, Nicky and Ricky's birthdays. Hank, Sue and the girls are coming up from Indianapolis to party with us. I love when they come up with the girls. the boys get along so well with them and I love to watch them interact. the girls bring out the best in the boys.
