Finally!

I've been working on getting my laptop setup and loaded with all my stuff since Friday night. Something that has been taking up a lot of my time that I really couldn't afford right now. I found out very quick that not everything I have will work thanks to Vista. It was Sunday until I finally figured it all out and got it to cooperate and all is good now. I couldn't install my camera software but the laptop has a SD card slot so I guess that'll work. I'm just so happy that I was able to install my photoshop software. I would have hated to have to get a new one. I now have to get a new Microsoft Office program since mine is so old it wouldn't work. I moved my old computer to the basement so if I really need it, I can still use it on that.

I also got a new printer and it's wireless. I love it and now I can print from my laptop from anywhere in the house. so cool! I was even able to install it on my old computer in the basement and I can print from there too. I got an HP Photosmart and it prints awesome pictures so I can finally get rid of my Epson Picturemate which was giving me a lot of grief. Now I can move on to finishing up things for the holiday.

I have today off and I have a huge list of things to do today. I need to clean the bathrooms and get the boy's rooms ready. I'm meeting my sister at the store to get my mom's christmas present and then we're going to mom's house for lunch and cookies. I still need to finish wrapping presents for our Christmas celebration with Bill's side on Saturday. I need to print pictures and put together an album for my mom. I decided to use a 6x6 album and print the photos 6x6 and just slip them in. I'll be using photos of her grandchildren from this year. there will be very little embelishments if any. I haven't decided yet. I'll know more once I start getting it together.

The boys are coming home tomorrow which means that I'll have to start cooking again. my problem is that with my work schedule, there doesn't seem to be anytime to cook. it'll be great to have them home, having their friends here and all the activity that goes with it. I just wish it wouldn't last all night ;o). they go back to LA on January 5th so they'll be here for 2 1/2 weeks! Yay!
