today is Adam and Angela's wedding day. I started my day with a hair appointment at 10:30. I purposely scheduled it the day of the wedding. I love the way my stylist styles my hair and I wanted to take advantage of it. however, she thought my appointment was at 11:00 and was 1/2 hour late! Thank goodness she's fast and I was still able to be home in time to change and meet up with my sister and be at my parents house by 1:00 to make it to the ceremony which was at 2:00 in downtown Detroit. we made it with plenty of time to spare.

on the way home we stopped at Tim Horton's for iced cappuccino's to hold us over until dinner.

this photo just warms my heart. This is a photo of four of the best friends growing up.  I was especially excited to see Mary (blue dress) who I haven't seen since I can't even remember when. somewhere while we were having kids we lost touch. every once in a while we would happen to cross paths, but it was usually a quick visit. Mary and I were especially close. we were M&M. inseparable. we saw each other through everything. we took trips together. we had so much fun! we exchanged emails and made plans to get together again.
