went out to breakfast for Mother's Day. the whole clan, all 11 of us. the only reason we picked this place was because they were the only ones that I could find that took "call ahead seating". what does that mean anyway. it's definitely not like having reservations. we still had to wait an hour. totally sucked. not sure if we'll do it again next year. though we did notice that by 1:00 the place really emptied out. maybe we should do lunch instead.
gorgeous weather today. after a week of crappy weather we were finally able to put our new patio furniture outside.
I really want to add some kind of overhead cover. either a gazebo of some sort or one of those huge umbrellas that has the stand to the side instead of the center. not sure yet which way I want to go but it will probably have to wait until next year or at least later in summer when things go on clearance.
yup, I think I found my spot!
