finally convinced dad to go for a hearing test and get fitted for hearing aids. It turned out that his "high frequency" hearing was impaired. these are sounds such as tires squealing, birds chirping, and women's voices, which I found hilarious. according to the technician, that is very common in men (again women's voices. that explains a lot).
made a trip to target to go peep shopping. I bought a whole bunch of peep stuff to send to Steven for Easter. while Steven was home for Christmas, we had a "peep" conversation and he was telling me how good the chocolate covered peeps were. I have not tasted peeps recently and all I remember was how hard they were (I dunno maybe I had a bad one but whatever they didn't taste very good) so I decided to buy one of the chocolate covered peeps for myself and taste it. OMG! they were awesome! so of course I had to go back and buy a few more for myself. by the way, those peepsters are good too!
