I'm Baaaaaack!

Okay, here's six months of catching up and yes, it'll be short. Besides working, I haven't been doing anything exciting and just scrapping here and there.

JANUARY
- I decided to give the Project Life Project (taking a picture a day) a try again this year. This time I bought the kit and it's making the project much easier to keep up with.
- saw Avatar
- not much snow - YEA!

FEBRUARY
- went to a wine tasting with a friend.
- watched the Winter Olympics, however by the second week I was starting to get a little bored and only watched it when nothing else was on.
- saw the play "Young Frankenstein" I really enjoyed it, but Bill loved it! Of course, he's a big fan of the the movie. It must be a guy thing!
- lot's of snow - BOO!

MARCH
- finally went furniture shopping for a new kitchen table and family room furniture. Unfortunatly, we couldn't find anything we liked. It makes it harder when you have something specific in mind, so we ended up not buying anything and put it on hold for awhile.
- bought paint to paint the kitchen, but then Bill got sick and by the time he got better the weather warmed up and outside projects took priority. Now painting is on hold until Fall.
- feeling Spring in the air - YEA!

APRIL
- Steven and Brian's birthdays
- Easter
- saw Alice in Wonderland
- Dad had prostate surgery. He had a little bleeding. Nothing serious, everything is fine.

MAY
- worked at the Archiver's booth at the Great Lakes Mega Meet convention.
- Mother's Day - Steven surprised me by coming home. He flew in Saturday night and had a friend pick him up from the airport and spent the night there. On Mother's Day, he called me in the morning to say "Happy Mother's Day" pretending he's still in LA. While on the phone with him, the doorbell rang, when I opened it, he was standing on the front porch. It was awesome!
- Memorial Weekend - went to Rick and Lil's property in the thumb for a barbecue, family fun, and riding the 4-wheeler.

JUNE
- had some concrete work done around the house and had a new furnace and air conditioner installed.
- I've been reorganizing and cleaning out my scraproom and the basement (had to make room for the air conditioner guys to work) and nothing was safe. Boxed a ton of stuff for charity, a ton of stuff for the garage sale at the scrapbook store (I made $250!) sold some stuff on ebay (made $300) and threw a bunch of stuff away. I'm still not done! Just taking a break right now.
- graduation party
- Father's Day
- found this little guy living in our garage

So far JULY
- went to the "Stars and Stripes Festival" in Mt. Clemens with some friends over the 4th of July weekend.
- saw Toy Story 3 and yes I cried at the end
- stayed home on the 4th and watched fireworks in the neighborhood.
- Mom's 80th birthdayWe had a party planned for her, but had to postpone it because Dad wasn't feeling well. We're still not sure what it is. After two months, and a ton of tests with all the results coming back negative, his doctor decided it must be a virus?!? Seriously? He has a consultation with a Gastroenterologist tomorrow.
- Oh, and how hot is it? It's so hot, that your car says it's 92 degrees at 10:00 am, but I'm not complaining. I'd much rather have that then 20 degrees in January.
- Brian is going to be in the Hugh Jackman movie "Reel Steal" that is being filmed here in Detroit. He got a part as an extra, but then was called for a supporting role part. He goes for his fitting tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't just jinx it.
- I've been scrapping here and there but not as much as I would like. I just need to start but I always seem to find something to distract me. I did finally do something with the 7 Gypsy Printer's Tray that I bought. I got motivated when Archiver's announced a contest that they were having. Of course, I'm not eligible to enter but I still wanted to create.

and that's it. I guess I did more than I thought. I hope it doesn't take me another 6 months to update.

I like all the pics.
HATE the heat, booo ;)
Hey, is Brian in the movie filming right at my exit to work and now it's all backed up? Can I blame that on him? haha.
I like the tray you made!
I hope your dad is feeling better soon.
