Project 365 minus 7 - week 23

June 7Pizza Hut for dinner today.



June 8Hung up my hammock chair today. I bought this on our trip to South Carolina a couple of years ago directly from the Pawley Island Hammock shop where they make them onsite. We use to have a hammock hanging between the two trees until we had to have one of the trees cut down. I missed that hammock so this is my substitute.



June 9 - no photo to post today. I'll be using my passport photos that I had taken today. getting ready for our trip this summer. no place exotic, just going to Canada up through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.



June 10I made these gnomes for my mom during my "ceramic phase" over 20 years ago. she always wanted gnomes in her yard but when she moved into her condo rules stated that they were not allowed so now they're back to me. I purposely painted them a more earthy, subdued color but I think my mom really wanted them to be brighter but she never said anything. now that I have them, I'm so glad they're not any brighter.



June 11a great place to sit in the evenings and watch the neighborhood.



June 12the Red Wings lost the Stanley Cup to the Pittsburgh Penguins by just one goal in the 7th game.



June 13went to see Star Trek today. I was never a "trekkie" so I wasn't sure if I would like the movie. It was great. It's the prelude to Star Trek as we know it.
