Mid-week date

So on Tuesday (TUESDAY!) afternoon Bill and I went to the movies and then out to dinner. it felt so weird going in the middle of the week but it was totally spontaneous. I had the day off and Bill had a job out in the field right near our house and he was done by noon so on the spur of the moment we went to see Angels and Demons and then to Bar Louie's for dinner. both at Partridge Creek (have I ever said how much I love that mall ;) ) we got a gift card for Christmas for Bar Louie's and have been wanting to go on a Tuesday since then. on Tuesday's after 5pm they have burgers for $1 but that includes only the burger, bun and lettuce. any other toppings are extra but still a great deal. it was happy hour so we got beers, an appetizer, burgers and an order of fries for $18! what a deal! I think we'll be having these mid-week dates more often now that Bill will be taking more time off from work. all part of the cutbacks from work to use up all that extra vacation time he's been hoarding and carrying over. he has enough vacation time to take off one week every month and then some! oh, and maybe we'll finally get some things done around the house.
