Lip Rings

Brian got his lip pierced last week. we found out about it on facebook when Brian posted a picture of himself with it. I was surprised by how much it bothered me. I thought I was cool about that stuff. I don't really like them but I thought I could live with it. but in reality, I was devastated. so when Brian came home last night, I wasn't sure how I would react to it. he didn't have it on. I thought that maybe he purposely left it off so I wouldn't freak out. it turns out that it's infected and he took the ring out and threw it away. does it make me a bad mom when it makes me happy that it's infected and he can't wear the ring? it turns out that he didn't really like it. he said he couldn't eat and it bothered him and it was a waste of $45. lesson learned!
