Saturday - went to the movies. gave another try to see the Batman movie. it wasn't sold out, but the only seats left were on top of the screen so we passed. went to see Hancock instead. I like it alot. very entertaining.
Sunday - finally went to Rick and Lil's property in the thumb area. It's near Caro and a 1 1/2 hour drive for us. it rained the whole drive up there. almost turned around and went home but hoped that the conditions were better there. it wasn't. but it did finally stop shortly after we got there and the sun came out so all was good.
in between, I watched the olympics. I enjoy watching the summer olympics (except for the track and field events. that's when I lose interest.) but prefer the winter olympics much more which is very surprising since I am so NOT a winter person. go figure!
