American Idol

I put my name on a waitlist for American Idol tickets. Right now my chances are slim to none and to get them for the week that we're in LA is next to impossible. I figured I'd give it a shot and see what happens. When my name comes up, I will be notified that a "Check-In Voucher" is available which allows me to check-in at the show on a specified day and be eligible to receive, on a first-come, first-served basis, an actual "American Idol" ticket. Sounds like the same kind of hassle I had to go through to get Ellen tickets and in case you don't know how that turned out, we ended up in the "riff raff" room which is a joke! The hotel we stay at whenever we go to LA is right across the street from CBS studios which is also near Steven's apartment. In fact, the last time I was there, I saw Josh Radnor "Ted" from the TV show "How I Met Your Mother" in a nearby coffee shop. I just stood there and stared! What was really amazing, was that everyone else in the coffee shop seemed oblivious to him. It must be an everyday occurrence for them.
