cute guy: I was at the grocery store next door and thought I would come in and pick up a scrapbook magazine for my wife.
me (thinking): aw, how sweet!
me (saying): does she have any subscriptions so that we don't duplicate?
cute guy: I don't know. she's always ripping out pages and showing them to me.
me (saying): well, how about a book.
cute guy: that sounds good.
me (thinking): I wonder if there are anymore like him at home.
me (saying): this is a brand new book so there's a good chance that she doesn't have it.
me (thinking): I love this book. It's on my "to buy" list.
cute guy: this looks great. I think she'll like it.
me (thinking): okay, seriously, how about a brother or maybe a father?
me (saying): she'll definitely love it.
cute guy: now I need to look at some totes and stuff. something for Valentine's Day.
me (thinking): okay, will you marry me?
