We had a "Secret Snowman" exchange and I got some KI Pop Culture stuff. Yum! Funny how we got to know each other's taste in scrapbook products. The icing on the cake was the gift from our manager. She hired a massage therapist to come in and give us all massages! By the way, we didn't get any cropping done. Too busy eating and having fun. As one girl so eloquently put it, "It's a good day to be an Archiver's employee!"

food, presents and a massage
Last night was our Staff Crop/Christmas Party at Archiver's. We each got a gift card for $22.00. I know, it's a wierd amount, but it's based on sales, customer service surveys and mystery shopper evaluations from October through December. We get 10 cents for every point and we ended up with 220 points with 500 points being the max. Being a new store, our sales expectations hurt us but we did awesome on the customer service surveys and the mystery shopper evaluations! Anyway, besides the gift card we were also given the stamps that were used in the classes and all the products that were either returned by customers or had manufacturer defects. They all had minor flaws that you wouldn't pay for but wouldn't complain about if it was free ;P. We played the "white elephant" game, when our name was called we could either steal or choose a new item. It took forever! We also got goodie bags containing, ink pads, pens, twinkling H2O's, glitter and a package of buttons. The Around the Block Phrase Maker was recalled by the company and Archiver's was told that they could dispose of the product however they choose but they were required to take it off the shelves so we each got one. I was able to get mine to work but not something I would buy. By the time you turn all the letters to create your word you could have just as easily pulled out stamps and stamped it.
